ORAN (Algeria) – Several traders in Oran (west of Algiers) started renovating their premises, spurred in this by influx of national and foreign visitors expected in the coming months on the occasion of the 16th International Conference on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG 16). LNG 16, in April 2010, will represent, through its economic impact on the region, a true "landmark likely to upgrade Oran to the rank of Mediterranean largest cities," had considered Director General of Sonatrach, Mohamed Meziane during a radio broadcast in Oran.
